In this portfolio I have put up only the best pictures of mine (in my opinion). Each one of them have something special that made me choose them. I put up the photos that would make my portfolio look profesional and also show my skill.

Wine glass photoshoot

2nd picture is the original picture that I shot and 2nd picture is the same picture after I finished editing it. First thing I did was cutting out only the part that I needed and then I changed levels of the picture to change some color and make it a bit darker the last thing I did was put some details in this picture by using 'sharpen tool'.
For this picture I used flash light to make the color more HD, after this I also did another shoot with same glass and water but I used continues lighting. Those pictures came out it bad quality and was hard to edit, this is why I didn't attach any of those pictures to my post.
Overall, for shooting shoots like this, it's better to use flash than continues lighting. It might look different on camera but when you see the picture bigger (eg. on PC), it looks completely different and it doesn't look professional at all.

Food photoshoot 2#

These are first pictures I took, in these pictures I used only 1 fruit [apple]. I like how in edit, I made the color look more natural and the water splash is in a very good detail, however, the apple turned out too dark.

In the second shoot I wanted to try with 2, lemon and aple. Same as before, I like the detail of the water in my second picture and I think the fruit dont look too dark so it still looks really good.

Food photoshoot

1st picture is the original and 2nd picture is what it looks like after I edited it. I also added some background to make the food look more with natural colors and more interesting.

For this picture I added some levels to make it more darker and then I used 'sharpen tool' to make the detail stand out.

Movie poster.

This is poster that I made for my script.
I think it turned out looking good, however it kind of reminds me more of a magazine's cover page. I think overall I managed to make it just as I wanted. It did take a lot of time to change it, however I knew what I wanted to do with the picture so that made it easier.

For the main picture I changed 'curves', 'exposure', levels, 'brightness', and I played around with color balance.

For the text in this picture I used 'SteelTongs', 'Haettenschweiler' and 'Viner Hand ITC'. For some of the text I also added effects - drop shadow.

Future of the Crawley

In this task I were asked to take 3 different photos or 1 photo of crawley and edit it to show different possibilities for the future of the Crawley.

In this first picture I did I made it look more like technology took over because as we know, technology is getting updatad and it is only matter of time when we will be able to do everything using technology. In this picture I added the huge moon at the background, nasa plain, some robots (I tried to look for robots that look similar to humans) and robot dog (pet).

This second picture shows two moons going together and a tree on the side which shows that Crawley looks more exotic and interesting, however the houses are still there and cars are the same.

Blur and Sharpen

This is same picture after I finished editing it. I blur mountains at the back and trees & grass at the front and then I sharpened middle part. I did this to make middle part (houses) more in focus and to highlight them more.

Healing

This is the same picture after I finished editing it. For this picture I used   'spot healing brush tool' and 'patch tool'. I used spot healing brush for some of the holes that was in the wall and I also used patch tool to hide the hole. Also I  got rid of the shadow that was on the top of the picture.

This is picture after I edited it, I used only 'Spot healing brush tool' to take out one bird.

For this picture I used 'spot healing brush tool', 'healing brush tool' and 'patch tool'. I used spot healing brush tool to take out one bird, I used healing brush tool to make some of the lines longer because they didn't fit, also I took one bird from 3rd line and put it in 4th line. And I used patch tool to get rid of mistakes that spot healing tool made. 

Dramatic Broken Glass

 Only thing I did in this picture was; I put two pictures together and for broken glass picture I change layer from normal to screen.

Fashion photography

In fashion photography an image gets manipulated a lot and it’s not only image that gets manipulated with, they also select perfect model for that photo-shoot. Images are really easy to change and that is why you can never trust what you see in a fashion magazine. They always change the picture before they use it for their magazine.

There are more than one way to manipulate the picture and one of them is known as digital manipulation/airbrushing. This is the most common manipulation for fashion magazines. They always use some computer programme (for example photoshop) to change the models look and to make her look perfect. They make sure that all the spots that model have are covered with make up so you can’t see then and if makeup doesn’t help, they use editing programme to cover it. This is not really good for the readers because if they make their model look perfect even knowing that she is not, the reader is going to think that they should look like that because that is how perfect people look like and they would like to be same as they are. Also readers may thing that they need to change themselves because they are not beautiful or they don’t have right size and this change might lead to eating disorder or something similar. If you look at the models in fashion magazines and how their skin is clear and looks just perfect, it is all made by using makeup and some editing software. Some of those pictures has face lifted a little bit higher to make sure that the neck looks taller and shows off face and they will change face form as well and they also may change the look of your hair by making it look bigger and more healthy.

Another way how they manipulate with pictures is that they make sure that they choose right model for their photoshoot. For example if they want to advertise their newest dress or something like that, they will choose model with right figure to do that. They will make sure that the dress look just perfect on that model and then they will make it more perfect by editing it.

Overall, you can’t really trust fashion magazines and someone you might want to look like might be just someone that has been photoshoped to look perfect in which case that would mean that you are trying to be someone that doesn’t even exist. If you look up some of the models from magazines without makeup, they will look like a completely different person.

As you can see pictures are really easy to manipulate with. You can change everything about a picture. You can change your hair colour, eye colour, clothes and a lot more. You also can change how person is standing or how tall or short they are, you can change their size, in fact, you can change every single detail about pictures. So are pictures telling true? No. They get changed too much and in fashion photography they will get changed before they will be used. This is why all the models in pictures look just perfect. It’s because they change some details about the model in Photoshop to make her look perfect. If you look in internet at some pictures, there is a big chance that they have been edited before they got put up on internet. Every single fashion magazine has edited pictures to make them look more perfect.
